It’s a. Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

  DearMama and Papa, Today is a nice and lazy day.  Auntie Nancy and Uncle Norm are sitting on the patio with me and we are all just enjoying the breeze.  She tried to get me to play “ pull on the monkey,” but, I just rolled my eyes her as if to say, “ Don’t bother me woman; I am into some serious meditation time here on my pillow,”. Silly Old Auntie.I’m sorry you haven’t been able to see my messages to you, but when you get home you will and you will be proud of what a good little doggie  I have been. Yes, I did bark back at the fireworks, but Auntie took me into the bedroom, turned on the air con and sang nice songs and we forgot all about those silly fireworks.  She says we’ll be singing a LOT tomorrow night because that’s when the big fireworks will come.  Grrrrrr. I may have to show my tiny little teeth and give them a growl or two before I listen to Auntie sing Auntie andUncle Norm are going to snorkel this afternoon. Hello from Lucky

 Dear Mama and Papa, I miss you very much and my buddy Chico too, but, don’t worry about me because I have Auntie Nancy and Uncle Norm pretty well trained, now and they spoil me good. right now we’re watching a movie together, but no dogs in this movie so I think I’ll just take a nap.   Last night a few fireworks went off and I did  not like that one bit. But, Auntie Nancy  let me sit by her and she snuggled my little ears in her hands and talked real nice to me  and I was ok. She promised me she will be here when the big fireworks go off in a few days: and we will just whisper songs and ignore them. I hope if there are fireworks where you are, Mama , that you won’t be afraid.  If you are afraid just tell Papa to hold your ears real gentle-like and talk in a soft voice. He should tell you you are strong and brave and fierce. That worked for me! Your loving doggie, Lucky 🍀

Liquid Snow!

Merry Christmas Mama & Papa! Auntie Nancy and I woke up to rain- really wonderful down-pouring rain!  She called it “ liquid snow for Christmas,” but I don’t know what that meant by that. Sometimes Auntie Nancy says funny things. We hope you will be spending a wonderful Christmas Day doing whatever is the best for you. We’ll be here at the house FB calling all of Auntie’s many children and playing with my monkey. I like it when she wrestles me for my monkey. I always win because I am a strong and courageous dog! This evening the two leggeds will leave me home alone  again. They are invited for Pizza at the next doggies house to meet three really big DOGS!  Humph. I bet I am tougher than they are.  I won’t mind them leaving me though because I know Auntie will give me a treat when they leave, and another when they return.  I have trained her well! 💖 I love you and miss you both very much, but Auntie Nancy and a uncle Norm are treating me real nice. Please don’t worry about me….but

Have a Merry Christmas Eve

  A Merry Christmas Eve  to all my friends both the two legged and the four!  Auntie Nancy and Uncle Norm  aren’t sure yet if they be going for a dip in the ocean or staying home all day with me. I hope they stay home and play fetch with my monkey toys!  After all I AM in charge here, right?   Everything has been pretty quiet around the house the past couple of days, but that just fine. I like it quiet when I want to nap and save up my energy to wrestle my monkey with Aunt Nancy. That is great fun!  I hope my mama and papa are having a fun time in Curaçao!  I miss you,  but it’s okay. Aunt  Andy gives me lots of snuggles and plays with me and Uncle Norm said yesterday that I am “ the best little dog he’s ever known!”   And, he is right.. Your loving best little dog ever, Lucky🍀

It’s Beginning to Feel a Lot Like Christmas

  It’s Lucky here!  Auntie Nancy tells me that it’s almost Christmas and we should be feeling very festive.  I don’t know about that. I’m not sure what this Christmas thing is all about, but I do know I talked her out of treats TWICE yesterday and the second time she said, “ Merry Christmas” with every little bite she broke off.  So, I’m thinking Christmas must be about extra treats,  so MerryChristmas everyone! Don’t Worry - Be Happy

  It’s Lucky here. I bet you are missing me. I know I miss you a LOT, but don’t worry. I’m getting Norm and Miss Nancy trained pretty well. She thinks that he is my favorite, but I just do that to tease her. Whenever Mr Norm tries to give Miss Nancy a hug I give them both my biggest growl and show my tiny teeth. They laugh!  Can you imagine?!  I give them my very best “ meanest dog on the block” act and they laugh at me! We are all doing okay here and you do not need to worry about us.  I want you to take a swim this morning and then lie in the sun and let the sun take away all your worries. And me?  Why I’ll be chasing my monkey toy around the living room and making sure these  old Americans don’t do any of that hugging stuff. Your loving doggie, Lucky 🍀

Left Behind

  We’ll darn it anyway! Just when Lucky and I were getting used to them those two Americans decided to go “ exploring.”  Nancy promised me she will only be gone 3 hours, but, I’m going to pout anyway. Yep. I’m just going to sit here in the sun and pout until she comes back. You see she is my favorite; Lucky already claimed the tall skinny guy for his. He won’t even let that guy give Nancy a hug!  Silly Lucky! Uh oh!  Miss Nancy is making me come indoors.  She says it’s to hot for a chubby puppy to stay outdoors for 3 hours.  Hmmfh. I am no more chubby than she is!   We are doing well. Please don’t worry about us. Norm and Nancy are good folk and they give us lots of pets.
