A Change of Plans

 

This is Lucky and I just want to complain about my name not making in onto this blog title! Now I know Chico is bigger and stronger than me, but, I am much more fierce and I’m going to have to set Auntie Nancy straight on that!  This should be named LUCKY and Geisha.

  I miss you already, but don’t you worry about me;  I’m getting along perfectly with these two Americans and as long as they continue to understand that I am in charge we will continue to get along. That’s right! As long as they understand that I am in charge………. And they give me lots of treats!

Merry Christmas Mama & Papa! Auntie Nancy and I woke up to rain- really wonderful down-pouring rain!  She called it “ liquid snow for Christmas,” but I don’t know what that meant by that. Sometimes Auntie Nancy says funny things. We hope you will be spending a wonderful Christmas Day doing whatever is the best for you. We’ll be here at the house FB calling all of Auntie’s many children and playing with my monkey. I like it when she wrestles me for my monkey. I always win because I am a strong and courageous dog! This evening the two leggeds will leave me home alone  again. They are invited for Pizza at the next doggies house to meet three really big DOGS!  Humph. It’s a. Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

  DearMama and Papa, Today is a nice and lazy day.  Auntie Nancy and Uncle Norm are sitting on the patio with me and we are all just enjoying the breeze.  She tried to get me to play “ pull on the monkey,” but, I just rolled my eyes her as if to say, “ Don’t bother me woman; I am into some serious meditation time here on my pillow,”. Silly Old Auntie.I’m sorry you haven’t been able to see my messages to you, but when you get home you will and you will be proud of what a good little doggie  I have been. Yes, I did bark back at the fireworks, but Auntie took me into the bedroom, turned on the air con and sang nice songs and we forgot all about those silly fireworks.  She says we’ll be singing a LOT tomorrow night because that’s when the big fireworks will come.  Grrrrrr. Don’t Worry - Be Happy

  It’s Lucky here. I bet you are missing me. I know I miss you a LOT, but don’t worry. I’m getting Norm and Miss Nancy trained pretty well. She thinks that he is my favorite, but I just do that to tease her. Whenever Mr Norm tries to give Miss Nancy a hug I give them both my biggest growl and show my tiny teeth. They laugh!  Can you imagine?!  I give them my very best “ meanest dog on the block” act and they laugh at me! We are all doing okay here and you do not need to worry about us.  I want you to take a swim this morning and then lie in the sun and let the sun take away all your worries. And me?  Why I’ll be chasing my monkey toy around the living room and making sure these  old Americans don’t do any of that hugging stuff. Your loving doggie, Lucky 🍀
